Lassi is popular drink from the state of punjab , it is made from curd and sugar ..it tastes delicious when it is served cold . lassi can be made with fruits and curd also which is also called as fruit lassi .

Ingredients

  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Powdered sugar - 3 to 4 tbsp
  • A pinch of cardamom powder
  • Fresh malai (cream ) - 1 tbsp
  • Water - ¼ th cup

Directions

  1. Take curd in a bowl and whisk it properly ( you can use hand whisk or u can do it using a mixer in pulse mode )
  2. Add water and mix it properly ( don’t add too much water as lassi is thicker compared to buttermilk)
  3. Add powdered sugar , cardamom powder and malai and mix it well
  4. Now malai lassi is ready ,you can refrigerate it before serving.
  5. Garnish it with some dry fruits and serve it chilled and beat the heat with chilled malai lassi.
